Hope you enjoy the pictures of our wedding. Michael and I were good friends since high school and on April 1, 2010 he proposed. We decided to get married 9 weeks later on June 13, 2010. With close to 180 people in attendance we were married at my church in Baltimore, MD. There was so much love and support in the room. I turned to view my family and friends and the entire room had tears in their eyes during our ceremony. It was then followed by a cocktail party.
Our guest enjoyed cocktails and hor d'oeuvres. The DJ played all of our selections including 'Pretty Boy Swag' by Soldier Boy for the father/daughter dance and 'Proud Mary' by Ike and Tina Turner for the special presentation (I was Tina and they were my back up singers) from my bridesmaids and I.
Overall, we had an amazing day. And we are so excited about an even more amazing life we will share.
P.S. My hair - how could I forget, my hair is shaved on one side. The rest are locs. And my locs were chenille curled (rolled on pipe cleaners).
