*PRODUCT REVIEW* Jane Carter Solution - Curl Defining Cream

I have the most amazing story of how I got my hands on a sample of the CURL DEFINING CREAM BY JANE CARTER SOLUTION.

I was in the Whole Foods Market searching for the 365's Lavender Shampoo. While I was in the Hair Care aisle a man comes up to me and hands me a sample of Jane Carter Nourish and Shine. I began to tell him about how I'm a fan of Jane Carter products and use them frequently at the salon. He then introduces me to two other men with him. Come to find out, one of guys was Jane Carter's husband!

So after a bit more chit-chatting and more samples (yea!), we start discussing the new Curl Defining Cream. He hands me a sample and asks me do I want more. Of course I say YES!! So he takes my card and promises to bring more curl cream to the salon.

When he gets to the salon with his colleague the next day, they wind up doing a product education class for myself a few other stylist. Needless to say, we all winded up with plenty of samples of the new Curl Defining Cream.

Now for the moment of truth: First let me say, I am a skeptic when it comes to curl enhancing creams. They always use a picture of a girl who's curls look nothing like mine. And I have been left disappointed with the performance of the product. However, Jane Carter hit a homerun with this one!

I LOVE this cream. It has that Jane Carter signature scent, a little citrus, not to heavy. It feels very creamy. Nice and soft, not to thick or sticky. It gets quickly absorbed into the hair. Makes VERY defined curls. Once the hair is dry, you will get the look you have when your hair is wet. It doesn't leave a buildup and dries clean.

And here are some of the ways we (my stylist buddies and myself) have used the cream: As a cream to detangle hair before blow drying, use it to retwist locs, use it to soften low cut hair (just brush it in after it's been cut), and of course to define natural curls on long and short little fros. It retails for $34 and can be found at JaneCarterSolution.com. Click here for website.

I was NOT paid for the review of this product.
